Lapins

Cherries distinguished by a ruby-red skin color having a lush-plump size, the Lapins, is a smooth cherry with a rich a sweet cherry taste. The Lapins cherry appears slightly heart shaped and offers a meaty and juicy mouthfeel to its eaters. The Lapin cherry was named after the horticulturist, Dr. Karl Lapin. Dr Lapin developed the cherries in the late 1930's for the Agriculture Canada Research Station in British Columbia.
